Gaildorf is back at the start on 85cc. After fourth place in the Junior World Championships and third place at the EMX final in Loket, he put his 65 aside and from now on only focuses on
the 85cc motorcycle.

Saturday in Gaildorf started very promisingly, because Luca came along straight away
Adjusted the track, drove consistently fast lap times and finished the free practice session in ninth place.

Time practice started around midday. In Gaildorf it is important to do a good lap, because a
a starting position very far inside is usually a guarantee for a good result. Luca drove again in qualifying the ninth best lap time and reached the goal of a top ten placement on the starting grid.

The 85cc drivers had their first race on Saturday. In very good conditions Luca got off to a good start, but had to back off a bit in the first corner because of a collision to avoid. After the first few corners he was around tenth place and was working his way up consistently moving forward to sixth position. He achieved this strong sixth place as the best Germans reach the finish safely at any time.
The second day of racing began with a 15-minute warm-up. The track was still there in places very slippery. Nevertheless, the ADAC Hessen-Thuringia sponsored rider made it into the top ten again.
Once again the MSC Gaildorf provided perfect conditions for the 85cc class race.
Luca once again got out of the starting gate well and was in seventh place after the first few corners.
In the second lap he was able to work his way up to sixth place, which he didn’t gave more out of hand. The youngstar showed the numerous spectators what he had to offer.
He can beat some top drivers with his unspectacular but efficient riding style.

The pilot of the Dutch AK Bouw-Hutten Metaal Junior Team made it to the overall result even in the top five in Gaildorf and is more than satisfied with that.

Luca: “I’m really happy about two good races within the top ten and still being the best Finishing German in the 85s takes that one step further. That would give me the start of the season “Not expected at all.”

The sixth round of the German Championship 85cc continues next weekend in Westerhausen. Luca goes into the races as the championship leader
and would like to maintain its lead in the table against the strong competition. Thanks to a livestream
