Fifth podium in a row for Luca Nierychlo in the German Motocross Championship 85cc

The riders of the DM85 were drawn to the Polish border, more precisely to Schwedt on the Oder in Brandenburg, for the fifth meeting. Luca traveled with the aim of defending his lead in the championship.

The track in Schwedt was more difficult for the young riders to drive than expected .The sidecar DM and the quad DM were part of the daily program. A great spectacle for the spectators.
In the first race, Luca got through the first corner without any problems and was in eight place, but was able to win a few duels and move up to fourth place.
With strong lap times, third-placed Simon Hahn had already pulled away and Luca finished fourth in first moto.

The start of the second race was similar, but this time Luca was able to make some passes.
In four corners he move from seventh to second place. But he made one mistake in the second lap and he had to leave the track briefly. This caused some riders to pass and Luca
had to work forward again. With a strong ride he managed to finish the race in third place.

In the daily ranking he landed on the podium again. Now for the fifth time in a row, and
Luca was the only DM85 driver to make it to the podium in every event.

In the championship, Luca unfortunately lost points to his rival Raphael Hellmuth. But still lead the overall standings by twelve points.
